MACON, Nov 12, 2019 – M&R Marketing was awarded 4 Target Awards by the Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations for its work on the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital donor campaign. The awards included:
- Total Integrated Marketing Campaign – Gold
- Television Campaign – Gold
- Impact Magazine – Silver
- Video to External Audience – Silver
The primary goal of the campaign was to raise the final $20 million for the construction of the new Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital.
“We are very proud to say that the marketing campaign exceeded the goal by $1 million, and over 5,000 people donated to the campaign,” said Matthew Michael, co-founder of M&R Marketing.
The campaign integrated community print material, donor collateral, and traditional media using TV, billboards, and print. “We also partnered with Horace Braswell and his team at CODEC to produce the video series which focused on telling individual patient stories,” said Matt Evans, M&R Marketing’s Executive Account Manager to Navicent Health Foundation.
In addition to the video series, M&R Marketing interviewed and photographed children and their families who had received medical care and told their recovery stories in an impactful way.
Kathy Tolbert, Senior Development Officer at Navicent Health Foundation, shared “Words can’t begin to express my utmost appreciation and satisfaction with M&R – they have been nothing short of amazing! M&R has truly been a Godsend to the Navicent Health Foundation and our Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital campaign!”
