Navicent Health Foundation was chartered in 1973 to enable community members to provide philanthropic support for Atrium Health Navicent, the leading provider of healthcare in Central and South Georgia. Throughout the years, the Foundation has helped fund medical research, technologies, equipment, and large capital projects to enhance Atrium Health Navicent’s ability to serve the hundreds of thousands of residents in and around the Central Georgia area.

The Need
Navicent Health Foundation was in the final half of their fundraising efforts for the new, state-of-the-art $40 million Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital (now named Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital). M&R Marketing was tasked with creating a promotional campaign to assist with donor relations and fundraising, with testimonial video as the centerpiece of the campaign.
The Solution
We created a testimonial-focused video series that highlighted some of the lives Atrium Health Navicent has saved through their world-class care. In addition to sharing these family’s stories, we created an overview video to serve as a foundation for the overall campaign and cast vision for how this new children’s hospital will continue to change the lives of Central Georgians.

The Results
Navicent Health Foundation successfully completed a $40 million capital campaign for the Children’s Hospital. The video campaign effectively used patient stories to engage donors through a centralized campaign message. Though every story was unique, each patient or family member petitioned directly to the donor.
