Macon Centreplex
The Macon Centreplex attracts entertainers from across the world to its three venues, the Macon Coliseum, the Macon Auditorium, and the Atrium Health Amphitheater. From Elton John to Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Mulaney, Reba McEntire, and more, these venues welcome artists, performers, and unique acts and draw fans from all over the region to Macon, GA.
The Macon Coliseum is also the home arena for the Macon Mayhem, a successful minor-league hockey team with a large fanbase in the Middle Georgia area.
The Need
The Centreplex operates three venues – Macon City Auditorium, Macon Coliseum, and Atrium Health Amphitheater – and Centreplex leaders requested individual logos for each. Our team was challenged to create logos that represented the unique features of each venue, while also allowing the designs to work together as a group.
The Centreplex also needed a multisite website with individual websites that would each complement one another while also serve as a unique hub for each venue.
The Solution
Our designers evaluated the distinctive features of each of the three venues. When we first partnered with the Macon Centreplex, The Macon Coliseum was a newly renovated, modern facility where fans could gather to watch performances and sporting events. The Macon City Auditorium is the longest-standing venue in the group and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, complete with a copper dome that is reportedly the largest in the world. The Atrium Health Amphitheater is the newest addition, having opened to the public in 2024 with state-of-the-art technology and the capability to seat 10,000+ people.
Our designers created logos to highlight the differences in venues while still finding ways to complement one another. Once the branding was completed, we were tasked with creating a multisite that housed individual sites for all three venues.

The Results
The new logos and website allowed the Centreplex to successfully re-brand the three venues* and continue offering top-billed events to the Middle Georgia community.
*Following M&R’s logo creation for the Amphitheater, naming rights were changed, and our original logo design is no longer in use.
