M&R Marketing launched in 2008 in the middle of the Great Recession. Back then, our office was a cozy spare bedroom. We had a lot of questions, but we also had a powerful vision and a deep desire to serve businesses in our hometown.
Since those early days, our vision and drive have helped us elevate M&R Marketing to become a leading marketing firm in Middle Georgia. Our company’s vision and values have remained steadfast – but a ton has changed at our shop since the “spare bedroom” office.
Here are some of our biggest changes:
Expanding Our Departments
M&R Marketing is a full-service agency, meaning we have an in-house team of marketers, designers, developers, digital strategists, and writers. Each of these departments has grown since 2008, and each has experienced leadership at the senior management level. In 2018, we officially created a dedicated digital department to manage digital advertising strategies and campaigns.
Creating Video Content
The value of video content cannot be overlooked. Engaging video content personalizes a business and is proven to be an effective way to reach audiences. M&R now has an in-house videography and photography team dedicated to creating and managing video content on all platforms. We’ve placed a high priority on the future of this service, and have created a new photo and video studio at our downtown Macon office.
Industry Recognition
Since 2008, our team has been honored with industry awards in website design, graphic design, marketing campaigns, video production, and more. We were also honored as Small Business of the Year by our local chamber of commerce. Our team is the best of the best, and we are recognized for it often.
Serving Our Community
As a locally owned business, we are passionate about giving back to the community we love. In 2018, we launched “M&R Gives,” a volunteer and giving program that raises funds and supplies to support local community groups. Since the program launched, we’ve partnered with the community to raise thousands of dollars in support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Georgia as well as Campus Clubs, a local after-school program for children in Macon’s Pleasant Hill community. Our staff participates in volunteer days throughout the year and serves various groups, including Meals on Wheels and Backpack Buddies, which provides meals to children in Middle Georgia.
